Cyrill Lanz

As Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of BETTERHOMES, Cyrill Lanz chairs the international executive board. He is responsible for the company’s global strategy and expansion, consistent brand positioning across all markets, and the ongoing development of its proprietary PropTech platforms.
As Executive Director and Chairman of BETTERHOMES Switzerland, he also leads the sales organisation in the company’s home market.

Lanz began his career in sales at the age of 18 and quickly rose to senior leadership positions in financial sales before moving into real estate. After building and successfully selling an international real estate franchise system, he founded BETTERHOMES in Zurich in 2005. As a pioneer of the hybrid brokerage model – combining proprietary technology with local sales expertise – he developed BETTERHOMES into Switzerland’s largest independent real estate brokerage and is now driving its international expansion.

Lanz studied law at the University of Lucerne and holds an MBA in General Management from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) as well as a postgraduate diploma in Global Business from the University of Oxford.
